School Opening Hours 

Ashleworth C of E Primary is open, for our pupils, from 8am until 5pm Monday – Thursday and from 8am until 3.20 pm on Friday.  Compulsory hours are 8.50am - 3.20pm (32.5 hours per week).

Our early morning provision caters for children, of all ages, from 8.00 until 8.45am. The children take part in a range of activities supervised by Mrs Huggins.

Children arrive at school from 8.35am. At 8.45am, the gate is opened and children make their way into class. Registration begins at 8.50am. This is followed by Collective Worship.

Morning lessons continue until 12 noon. There is a 15 minute break from 10.30am – 10.45am. During the morning, lessons focus upon all aspects of English and maths.

Lunch is from 12 noon – 1pm.

Afternoon lessons begin, after registration, at 1.05pm and school ends at 3.20pm. On a Monday and Thursday afternoon, each class will have their PE lessons. The children in Class 1 will have a short afternoon break, the class teacher will decide on the timing of this.

In addition to our after school club, we also offer a PE/Sports club on a Monday and Thursday from 3.20pm – 4.15pm.

Total teaching time (less registration, Worship and breaks) is 23.75 hours
